Faboulous coasts and beaches
Six kilometres of coastline washed by a limpid and transparent sea. Wild nature, framing small and picturesque headlands. The territory of Chia is included in the municipality of Domus de Maria and it’s one of the most famous and popular seaside locations of the gulf; it boasts many beaches and coves which are, with good reason, counted among the most beautiful in Southern Sardinia, as the beautiful beach of Su Giudeu or the fascinating Cala Cipolla. Chia is also famous for its dunes, shaped by the wind and dotted with fascinating ancient junipers.
Wild Nature
Besides the beaches, there are also other landscape aspects that are very beautiful, such as the forest of Is Cannoneris, inhabited by several animal species such as deer, fallow deer and wild boars, and lagoon and mountain areas, which often hide and preserve ancient Nuraghe sites.
